Capabilities
A.E. Drilling Services, LLC has been performing environmental, geotechnical and mineral exploration drilling since 1969. We have the following capabilities:
- Auger Drilling and Split Spoon Sampling (various sizes) to 18-inch O.D. to 200 feet in depth
- "Dry" Soil Coring 3-inch and 4-inch diameter to 200 feet depth (CME system)
- Direct Push (Geoprobe®) Soil and Groundwater Sampling, reagent injection with track mounted 6610 DT units, and MIP exploration.
IDW Free 2-Inch Well Installation (GeoProbe® 8040)- "Punch" Soil Coring to 1,000 foot depths
- Wireline rock coring, including triple tube and inclined to 45 degrees
- Mud Rotary Drilling (various diameters) up to 2,000 foot depths
- Wireline rock coring, BQ, NQ, HQ, PQ, and 6-inch size, to 1,000 foot depths, including triple tube and inclined to 45 degrees.
- All-terrain Drilling (multiple ATV units)
- Air Rotary/Downhole Hammer Drilling up to 1,000 foot depths; Truck and ATV Mounts
- Undisturbed Sampling including Shelby Tube, Piston Tube, Gus and Pitcher samples, 3-inch to 5-inch capability
- In-situ Vane Shear Testing
- In-situ Packer Permeability Testing including conventional and transducer/data logger equipped pressure packer testing
